Old Bastards

Up until about 18 months ago I used to smirk at old people who used to fumble for their glasses to read a menu at a dimly lit restaurant, or even worse use an iPhone app to brighten and enlarge the script, then I found out I was fast becoming one.

In my mid to late 40's (I'm clinging to the former), I need my reading glasses more and more and as such they are never too far away from me. Unlike the young fella in the distance who can peer into his device with ease.

He's the one who's smirking now.
