Derelict Thursday - Once beautiful

Finally my first contribution to Sarum Strollers Derelict Thursday


It's not been for the want of trying......just haven't been able to go in search of a specific blip on a Thursday until today!

I had planned and did photograph an old hotel in town that's been boarded up for quite some time now.

When I went around the side and back of the property I noticed that the old and rather beautiful villa next door, which I believe was used as rented bedsit or maybe apartment type accommodation up until quite recently, was all boarded up too! As you can see from the stone work around the windows and door it was obviously a beautiful building in it's day, probably late 1900s I should think?!
