Cathedral and cannon

First things first, the cannon was captured from the Russians in the Crimean War and presented to Ely in 1860 marking the creation of the Ely Rifle Volunteers. It has the words "Give Peace in Our Time O Lord".

The Cathedral was begun in the 11th century, the tower collapsed in 1322 and later rebuilt. It leans slightly now.
