Self help in Plaza de España
I have never read one of these books in my life. However, I have to say that in the first three chapters, I saw a lot of sense and have felt quite prepared to deal with STUFF. Thanks Shirley. (She recommended the book) If you're the sort of person who thinks you can deal with everything and anything, but have ever felt like
you can feel every heart beat, and get the feeling something's wrong
your heart is going to explode
you could die any moment
crap happens and when it happens, everything could go really wrong
etc. etc.
normal life I know, but sometimes it creeps up on you....
you could do worse than to read it a bit.
I feel shit because I've got a cold, but I'm not going to die tomorrow (probably!), and we went into Palma, and life goes on around you, and I've finally got my new progressive lenses which make me feel like I'm 12 foot tall when I look at the pavement, which could be seriously distressing, but I see it as fun, and and and, it's the weekend and Monday is a holiday.
Do I start taking the medication now, or shall I keep it in the jar on the shelf?. I think it's for emergencies only.
Sorry....
Went to Palma after my teaching session and took the slow train home. Agu said, "Are we in Mallorca now?", as we entered the valley.
I remember that marvellous feeling of how huge the world was.
