"Frightened, what of, was it the Hoover?"
"No, you silly, that wee Mousie."
"That tiny little furry creature that I spotted scurrying across the floor. She can't possibly be frightened of that."
"Yes Bud the wee mousie."

"So that's why we were rushed out of the house so quickly. There I was, in the middle of my afternoon nap. Having a well earned rest after our tiring walk on the beach with Flo and Freddie and I was woken up and bundled into the car for yet another walk"

Thankfully by the time we got back the wee Mousie had been dealt with.
