Wootton Wawen

I won’t bore you by telling you that we went to B&Q again, this time to make slight alterations to our kitchen order AND we’re going back tomorrow.

The electricians were working in the kitchen today so we left them to it and took off in the car with Dylan. After B&Q we visited Bath Store to look at showers and basins then leaving restoration behind we went to Yew Tree Farm, a craft and café centre, to have a look round and take a walk along the canal which includes Wootton Wawen Aqueduct. The Navigation pub lies on the bank of the canal, a favourite haunt of Roz on her way home from Stratford.

The workers were just thinking of packing up when we arrived home. I had an update on the kitchen wiring and then we were left with the task of cleaning up the dust created by the many channels chiselled into the walls.

The worst is nearly over as tomorrow they’ll be working in the garage, and then hopefully finished.
