Wet West Paddlefest 2014 - Day one - The River Moriston, by Invermoriston.

Vast number of photos taken, and difficult to select just one. The above was from the Upper Moriston run, that commences from just below the dam.  Guaranteed water, in-spite of all the dry weather, as the dam releases water to bring up the level once a week, over the Summer. This week the day is changed to Saturday. On Sunday, the nearby River Garry, by Invergarry, will likewise have sufficient water flowing for more fun, thanks to its dam releasing water.

Unfortunately there were a few injuries today - the Moriston is not a river to be taken lightly. Certainly not one for novices.
