Into the clouds ...

Puck's Glen is s wonderful gorge whose twee name tends to belittle its majesty. Here, my family could be anywhere as they cross one of the many bridges that carry the path back and forth across the burn. Said burn changes all the way up the gorge, from tumbling torrent to innocuous shallows to sinister waterfall disappearing into a cleft or pouring into a dark pool.

Today's rain had stopped by the time I took this, but the clouds formed between the rocks and trees - we could have been anywhere.
