Morning Light

I was outside just after the break of dawn enjoying the light and birdsong. It was calm and warm as I strolled through the garden which is looking very brown without any lawn or weeds and ever so large.

Mr Blackbird was busy feeding the fledglings which have managed to get to the top of the fence but there is still more hopping than flying and a heck of a lot of chirping.

I've had my eye on this blossom hanging over our back fence from our neighbours for a wee while. The light is only on it for a few minutes first thing in the morning, so it was to be captured this morning as rain is expected tomorrow and the next few days.

Our first hot day of spring, 24C, what a beauty!
