Caribou on the Atigun Pass

Great excitement today as we encountered a large herd of caribou, migrating south before the winter. So lucky to encounter so many, let alone see them in such wild and majestic surroundings.

Best seen Large! - There are some impressive sets of antlers :)

We've driven from Wiseman to Deadhorse today and have had a very very long day.
Best I get some sleep! We're flying to Kaktovik Island tomorrow.
