Orchard

On my way across to campus this morning I stopped for a quick look at the public orchard - there are apparently several of these in Milton Keynes. I thought the apples looked rather hard and green, but later discovered that this orchard is specifically for cider apples - and there's still time to join the last day of the Big Pick, if you find yourself in the vicinity. (Can't stand cider myself, but hurray for the idea!)

Morning of catching up on email type things and a meeting in the afternoon. I hastened off to the station and just managed to catch the 16:13 train, but due to circs prevailing against the trains didn't get in to Edinburgh till after 10 pm. It was very nice to see DaveH again, not to mention the pint of delicious hoppy beer that he was proffering!
