Sea Lion

Today we were picking up friends from the airport in the late afternoon and we went down to San Diego early to take a walk around Point Loma and have a bite to eat. This sea lion had taken over one of the docks in a private marina and he was the most interesting photo subject of the day. The sea lions are a bit of a nuisance in the harbors, as they are noisy, smelly, and can be aggressive when approached. This guy was pretty mellow, but I stayed on a different dock while taking my pictures.
