Sir Walter Scott is much admired in Edinburgh probably because he's Scottish and has the surname Scott just in case you forgot ;-)

His statue on Princes street is pretty big but it's dwarfed by the spire that covers it. It's pretty much impossible to photograph both at the same time so here's my odd angled take on it.
