From Plockton pier....
It's been a cracker of a day here on the Scottish West Coast, 17 degrees, and the sun splitting the skies. Hubby and I have made the most of it with a walk round the village this morning, a trip out in Calum's boat to see the seals on the little islands dotted around Loch Carron, then another walk up to the mast on the hill opposite the village with amazing views over to Skye and Torridon, coffee and cake in Kyle, then back to the Inn to await the arrival of my brother and his wife who are joining us for the rest of the weekend. The forecast is not good for the next couple of days, but who cares. Today was a week's holiday in a day! Carpe diem indeed!
