Littlehampton surfers

There were three surfers in the sea this afternoon.

We're still in the midst of decorating - loo and bathroom this time. It was quite a relief to have the loo seat back on this afternoon!

I blew my savings on a new birdwatching scope which arrived yesterday. It's a monocular which I find easier as my eyes don't really work very well together after a head injury many years ago. It has a rather innovative collapsing (telescoping?) barrel which is great as it means you're not carrying a huge thing around, and it's not very heavy. We took it off to Arundel Wetlands this afternoon to try it out in the hides. I thought it did well so I'm not feeling so guilty at using my savings.
