The Oak Mask.

I spent a little time at Stokesay Castle in South Shropshire today, as a rule it's a quiet peaceful place, but a couple of buses with school children had arrived and really enliven all of us old foggies up- English Heritage made a killing selling wooden swords and helmets, these were being used on one of the lawns. A great day! Teachers are so brave!
The oak mask is on the corner of the Tudor Gatehouse at the entry to the Castle.
