The Little Giant
We went to Truro again for a recital today. The mixed lighting there during the day never ceases to fascinate me. The organ is an outstanding example of the work of one of England's best organ builders, Henry ("Father") Willis. Built by him when the cathedral only had its chancel, he could have been forgiven for getting the tonal structure wrong, but in fact in the finished cathedral, it is held as one of his finest instruments. It has been called the "Little Giant".
Sorry to go on so much - this is a photography forum, not a site for sad organ buffs!
