Hailes Castle

Not the most exciting photo today-but I wasn't happy with my other landscape pictures.
So what you are looking at is a detail of a 14th century wall which we saw when we went to Hailes Castle near Haddington. 'M' and his friend were taken by the 2 pit-vault prisons, I was taken with the beautiful location of the castle on the edge of the River Tyne. The owners of this castle also built New Hailes in Musselburgh, when they fancied a more contemporary residence.
