Unexpected beauty

This is not the blip I planned.

Among the many things I have learned on Blip, taking a photo is the simplest yet most important.

Bereft of subjects and ideas this evening I stood in the conservatory looking at the rain on the windows and the garden beyond.

I was attracted to the spots of rain on the windows creating an interesting perspective, and there was the shot.

Or so I thought.

You see, the flash was on....

So what I got was this unexpected blip of rain drops lit up on the glass.

I turned off the flash to take the planned shot but it's nothing like as good as this blip.
