Paul Lapides

Paul is a student of computer science and builds physical devices for intuitive 3D interaction.

He was born in Moscow, Russia but left the country in 1991 with his family.
After living in New York and New Jersey they finally moved to Calgary in 1993.

His father,a programmer, taught him to play chess when Paul was a child. Therefore he became the Alberta chess champion in grade 8 and 9. Nowadays Paul isn't interested in chess too much but rather likes hiking, skiing, travelling and surfing.

During a one year internship he travelled through 25 countries (see here).
