October word of the day - asymmetrical

This bird perched on the uppermost branches of the tallest tree in the valley behind my house this morning, certainly presents an asymmetrical image! I loved the way he clung on to the slender twigs that looked like they'd snap under his weight, despite quite a breeze picking up.
