Pear tree with a pair of pears (no Patridge), over the fence by the Huntly Terrace back lane, in Inverness. Noticed this tree a few weeks back, and it was laden with pears. Quite surprising considering its location, a teeny garden alongside a narrow rows of houses. Overshadowed on one side by a large newish Premier Inn (in the background), and over the narrow back lane, the British Legion building.
Hopefully the owners have had the benefit of the crop, rather than tall folk passing along the lane, that could reach them. Not as big as the commercially grown ones, but very clean looking... and tempting.
