The challenge is a walking and cycling competition that aims to support healthier lifestyles and empower communities to be more physically active and it’s completely free for residents to take part.
Residents can win prizes for themselves and their community team. A £1,000 cash prize is up for grabs for the team that earns the most points.
The card works by tapping it against one of 40 special sensors called beat boxes being placed on lamp posts across Emmbrook and Woosehill from 22 September onwards.
This is M tapping her card, at present she has clocked up 25 miles walking and her school are currently in the lead in the race for £1000. Some of the beat boxes are worth more than others, the one in town being the best at 50 points per swipe.
