Dim sum
Ivy got up in the morning to play with Granny Grant and Pops and showed off her spoon handling skills eating her breakfast thickie.
We went to colllect Granny Grant from work in mothercare so she could show off Ivy. Ivy had a great time exploring the shop and got quite attatched to a very lifelike plastic horse, that she made her version of a horse noise at. We got her feet measured again, she's now a 1.5G so almost big enough for her own pair of actual shoes. Euan and I disagreed about how nice a beautiful pair of dusky pink and grey high top shoes were- thank goodness i'm the one who does most of our online shopping...
In the afternoon Great puffin gran and great aunty fiona came to visit. Ivy ran about and helped herself to cake using a fork- this was my plan to limit how much cake she'd eat by making her do it herself.
Euan went away for the evening to Edinburgh, so we had dimsum for dinner without him. Ivy was very hungry by the time dinner came round, so was trying to eat the ceramic chopstick rests. She enjoyed her dimsum, particullarly the black pudding ones (fusion cooking....). She went down to sleep very well after her bath in a garden trug- it took her a while to be persauded to sit down in the trug so she realised it was a bath and not a foot spa.
