Cramond Crossing

Another cycle ride today with the teenager. It was however curtailed by a flat tyre, and Bicycle Repair Man wasn't with us. Not to be deterred, we had lunch at Cramond sitting out in the sun and waited for the tide to go out.
We were a bit impatient, so had a slightly wet crossing over to Cramond Island. Very interesting to explore the old gun emplacements and lookouts from World War 2, and strange to think of the soldiers stationed out on that rock.
