flying visit

My day began at 04:15 for breakfast & a last minute pack before getting the shuttle bus to Sydney....having not really read my ticket - I missed the drop off point. So a detour into the city on the bus to pick up a group of people from the wharf who were still at sea (this weeks storms are responsible) before being returned to my needed location. Gorgeous day in the city too.

Flying via International departures to Melbourne caused longer queues to clear customs & immigration...the payoff being 2hrs hanging out in duty free. Often a painful place to be but talk about good window shopping (free samples in the booze aisles & perfume samples to make your head spin).

The new SunLiner aircraft turned out to be rather nice. Electric tinted windows, individual screens & comfy seats...

The afternoon hanging out with a cocktail before a wonderful night of dumplings & catching up with fabulous people at RedDoor just off Chapel St. Oh Melbourne how I miss thee & the people you keep.
