The museum of the Sonian Forest

I made almost exactly the same picture in July last year, that round window has such a great view over the courtyard of what used to be the farm for the Groenendaal Abbey and is now the museum of the Sonian Forest :-) The huge mouse (rat?) wasn't there last year though. Spent the whole morning getting a very intensive tour over there as part of the course for nature guides. Very interesting but quite a lot to hear and as we did it all mostly standing, quite a burden for the feet, knees, back and muscles. Then off to Holland to see the boys. What a brilliant day it was weatherwise, so sunny, the car's display said it was 26 C while we were driving to Holland !
