Gloucester Cathedral Cloisters

After a bit of dithering I decided to jump, well step, on a bus and pop over to the Cathedral in Gloucester for a potter. The light wasn't all that wonderful but as I currently have a free bus-pass it seemed daft not to take advantage.

Not the greatest shot of the cloisters either - handheld at slower shutter speeds isn't my forte and as I must admit that I chose not to give them the £5 the suggest is an appropriate donation then I took a few shots on the sly. Had the light been good and I wanted to set up the tripod etc. then I'd have coughed up but not today - yes, I'm a terrible person....... then again I'm a fairly frequent visitor and do cough up ......

I picked up a couple of bunches of assorted diddy chrysanthemums to play with tomorrow - well they should last me a good week if not longer by the time I thin them out as they keel over. Heck - some of the buds on my lisianthus are still upright and it must be 6 weeks since I bought them although I doubt they'll be opening....
