Asymmetrical Autumn Leaves

The leaves are rapidly changing colour and falling from the trees. It's a beautiful time of year, especially when the sun is shining. To fit today's challenge word of Asymmetry I have selected three leaves from the garden. One thinks of leaves as symmetrical, but they are not. Their shapes may be close to it but the detail is very different. I wonder if. like people, all leaves are unique - many similarities but all individually special.

I am trying to get to grips with adjustment layers in Photoshop. Every time I think I understand something and try to apply that to another image, I realise I don't quite get it! Frustrating. If anyone knows a particularly good tutorial please let me know.
