This is a hedgehog

Today I decided to make a cake for when we go to Dorset tomorrow (though saying that I am waiting for something to stop us going as it always does) for The nuts party with my family. Since he suspects cake is highly poisonous but quite likes chocolate, i thought I would make him a hedgehog, so he could at least enjoy the chocolate buttons.

Incidentally I let him have a few while creating this disaster, and it resulted in the most lovely 'mum-um-um' ing... sadly this means 'yum-yum' or 'more of that chocolate stuff please. And not held within the matrix of those disgusting poisonous cakes!'

I got a recipe and was about to weigh out the ingredients but it sort of disgusted me. I like cake but I thought flour was the main ingredient, not shared equally with butter and sugar. Had I thought deeply I would have remembered a delicious vegan cake I ate extensively on retreat (an arduous cake filled retreat that one) but instead I decided to make muffins because I am good at that.

Then I made a special one that looks like a hog for the birthday boy.

Personally, I feel it looks more like the Booshes crack fox, but at least I tried. And he tastes better n a crack fox for sure.
