Drunk Barbie

Couldn't resist this snap of poor Barbie (thrown from the buggy onto the damp pavement). Looks like she had one too many!

Squidge and I went for a mammoth leg-aching walk to Didsbury today. It was a walk I used to love doing but boy was it tough with a heavy two year old to push in her buggy. We had fun playing in Cavendish Park and catching the tram home though.

It also gave Angus some peace. He was on tenterhooks again waiting for the district nurse to come and change his dressings (he hates it and it can be very painful). She was delayed a few hours which prolonged the agony so he ended up waiting most of the day and taking too much pain relief which made him drowsy :(

Jo popped by (with the enigmatic Joe fella) this afternoon and took Squidge to the park to give me a break which was very appreciated. It's been tough this week and I badly needed an hour to myself.

I have a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, X Factor and family comfort food faves Cheese Potatoes ready to under the grill. Have a great Saturday night all!
