Mike

A day with plenty to get on with but not much achieved. Interruptions and other peoples' problems was the chief culprit. I got out at lunch for about twenty minutes but that was all. Fearing the worst, I took one or two emergency blips but knew them to be lousy. I could only hope I might meet someone sociable at the pub.

Enter Mike at the Case, a regular Friday nighter, but a chap I hadn't really had a long chat with. Fortunately he was sat with Dave and Cedric and in that way I gained an introduction.

Mike likes a pint of proper ale. He also breeds long horn cattle and sheep. But that's not his day job. In his professional life he is better known as Professor Michael J Tisdale, professor of cancer biochemistry at the University of Aston. Quite a bloke eh?
