Strawberries on Toast

Every time she's accompanied me to the grocery store recently, A has begged and begged for strawberries. Out of season, they've been expensive so I've put her off. But last night, I grocery shopped solo and noticed that strawberries were marked down, so I bought a pint of them to surprise her. We had a delicious breakfast of fresh strawberries and strawberries-on-toast this morning, followed by a couple of hours of working on A's butterfly science fair project. The sun is out so now we're headed to the park!
