baking with Daddy

Three weeks on jury service has wiped me out (that and the fact that I'm approaching 37 weeks pregnant and we decided to add potty training into the mix in the last few weeks of mayhem). Thankfully, Mr B was more than happy to entertain Evie B today so that I could enjoy a long bath and a long nap. Eve was whisked off to the pool, she helped poach eggs for lunch and then - oh joy of joys - she made chocolate biscuits. I say she made biscuits, in truth Mr B baked while Eve sampled raw ingredients and then gobbled the finished article. Later she was exhausted enough to sit and watch a film.
