Delicious Sunset
It's been another full day. Over to my parents' first where I helped sort out some paperwork and old photos.
Then it was time to take Minstrel to the Vet for his second cat inoculation. He really doesn't like travelling bless him - once again he was sick in his transporter, poor little chap. And poor Vet who had to clean it up! Anyway, he is growing nicely - he's gained 200g since he was last there! He was glad to get home! After his ordeal and playing all morning before that he was shattered!
So Brian and I left him to sleep, with Jae to keep an eye on him, and we went back to Metheringham for their annual Fayre and Feast. A big village festival, with a market, music, funfair etc. It was a lovely evening. People were having fun (and a drink or several, but no-one was acting stupid with it!) Kids were playing and teens larking about All ages happy and enjoying themselves together. There's something special about village events that rarely seems to get replicated in cities.
As the sun went down on a very warm Autumn day I noticed the sky above the rooftops, and decided to try my camera's sunset setting! You can see an old derelict mill silhouetted - I really must Blip that in daylight one day!
