Autumn woods

A lovely warm and sunny day, though quite breezy, after rain overnight.
The parkrun course was rather wet and muddy - but I'm used to that after the trail runs!
Having not run since the outing on Monday I felt up to running and managed fine, and even did another couple of miles after tea and toast in the café. I took the camera on this run and was able to get the colour contrasts in the woods, and I like the slightly unworldly look the angle of the light gives the trees.
Mr Rat went to stirling for a cross-country race, I went for a walk along the Dighty Burn in Monifieth and then bought a new head-torch, some ostrich (very tasty)and some venison sausages and some potting compost so I can plant the tulips. (not all from the same shop!!)
I've been trying to do some things on-line and keep losing the connection, so hope this gets through.
