Budapest

After a 3:30am start, a flight from Edinburgh to Brussels with a connecting flight to Budapest, holiday has begun. We had a fantastic afternoon mostly bird-watching, and spotted so many species (many I'd never seen before) including great bustard, hen harrier, pallid harrier, partridge, peregrine falcon, corn bunting, egret, Syrian woodpecker to name but a few! Arrived at the hotel this evening to find this amazing view of the parliament - it turns out Budapest is beautiful especially at nighttime! Absolutely shattered but a very good day.
