Today I went to Wrightsville Beach with my red balloon. While I was taking THIS picture, I began talking to a young woman. As I explained my project, Laurie suggested I ask her friend Greg to take the balloon into the ocean on his surf board. He was nice enough, but weary about surfing with a red balloon in front of his surf buddies. He didn't want the attention. So Laurie volunteered to take the balloon and her paddle board out in Banks Channel (just across the way) so that I could grab a few shots.

Laurie had a new board and just completed certification for Paddle Board Yoga. HERE are more.
