old fashion car air cooler

This classic car was on display at the Christian Low Rider car show evangelistic gathering on the City Height Recreation field. There were 2 cars with the type of "air cooler" that my parents used in the late 50's & early 60's to bring some cooler air into the car when we traveled across the SW deserts. They brought some moisture into the car and lowered the inside temp by maybe 10 degrees. It was fun watching teenagers look at it and try an figure out what in the world it was
