Autumn sunset

A strange, windy day of drifting cloud, tantalising blue spaces beyond and sudden flurries of rain ended in this slightly apocalyptic sunset as we bashed along the shore road at Toward on a late walk this afternoon. It was one of those days when the familiar walk seemed much longer than usual, perhaps because we were battered by the wind which felt like a barrier no matter which direction we took.
