view from the Jersey side

on my way into NYC via bus, taken from the window, no flash, no processing done.
the light falling on the Empire State Building was so lovely. this blurred image does not do it justice, but you can get an idea.
when i met my friend in Manhattan she began to tell me about how the light on the Empire State building looked earlier when she was on the high-line and she took out her cell phone and showed me a picture she had taken. I pulled out my little camera and showed her the picture i took.
She and I are so often on the same wavelength it could be eerie but it is actually nice.
