MacDoughnut
Late Blip entry and crap photo. Sorry.
Last night we went to see the triple header of the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, Michael MacDonald (affectionately known in our family as MacDoughnut) and Boz Scaggs. It was excellent although the venue was open air and it poured with rain most of the night. Our seating was almost under the cover the stage roof but not quite.
Actually this was by far the closest we have ever been to the stage it a concert. Well worth the money spent on the tickets. I think we were maybe 6 or 7 rows back.
The performers were as expected. Mick Fleetwood is a great Musician as well as a bit of a nut. His facial expressions while playing the drums was quite amusing. Michael MacDonald played some of the old Doobie Brothers stuff as well as his own and some of classic Motown songs. Fantastic! I hadn't seen Boz Scaggs before and was blown away by his voice and guitar playing. Very unique.
All in all it was a great night if not a bit wet. My $1 plastic poncho tore earling in the piece so I had rain dripping down my neck and back most of the evening. I was pretty damp when I got home.
