Chrysanthemum Flower Tea

Our church is having a Global Focus weekend. It started this evening, with a superb African meal, cooked and served by a number of African women in our fellowship. They were all wearing traditional dress - so colourful. I particularly enjoyed the marinaded meats and fish, and spinach with beans.

We also had the chance to try teas and sweets from China, Turkey, the Middle East and India. I will try anything once, and found this Chrysanthemum Flower Tea from China very refreshing - yes the flowers were floating in the pot. It was also interesting to use the various sizes and types of cups, glasses and bowls from which each country takes tea.
