Daff Burn - No. 7

The weather has changed today, with fresh southwesterly winds bringing heavy rain at times.

Needed to go out this morning to get some cooking items, so decided to head up to the Daff Burn to continue my series.

I liked this view of the burn with the flowing water coming in to this rock pool, against the autumn colour on one side and the greenery on the other. There is definitely a timeless quality about the Daff Burn.

Home now and planning on making a couple of wintery Italian dishes: Leek, Potato and Rocket Soup followed by a Sausage, Bean and Olive Casserole.
