Oak Apple

Look like apples, but actually are galls (a distortion of the leaf) as a result of parthenogenetic wasps (gall wasps). Had ventured to the woods in search of an Ural Owl which Liis Kasari had seen the evening before. This is the best i could achieve - not even close! Ill post a picture of the owl Liis discovered if she gives me permission.
