Taking it slow and easy

We decided a trip to Newburgh was in order to clear our lungs. I'm a fan of the coast and love walking on the beach; looking out to the vastness of the sea and seeing the waves crash in. Today the sea was rough and nearby seals were staying in the safety of the bay.

Now I'm at home and about to finish a book I've had on the go, The Beautiful Room Is Empty by Edmund White.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.
