Soon to be Birthday Girl

Its Emily's 9th Birthday on Monday and what seems to have become an annual event about this time of year is a girly day with me, Emily and her mum Amanda.

This was the start of the day with lunch at Brown's in York and of course a chocolate milkshake.

Next came about 3 hours of shopping with the enthusiasm and excitement of a 9 year old. Monsoon, Accessorize, Claire's Accessories, Disney, Early Learning Centre where all visited and the bling and sparkle made my eyes hurt.

Amanda and I were shattered by 4pm not use to such a pace. I am a typical online shopper so cannot remember the last time I actually went into a town centre to hand over my money.
