A magical place called Paranella park just Sth of Innisfail in nth Queensland. A Spanish castle was built here in the 1800's , built by a romantic for his belovered fiancé. These days some of it is in ruins,but it is still beautiful. Very popular wedding spot. It has all the wonderful magical features of grottos,water fountains and lots of laneways through the rainforest ,and one he even named "Lovers Lane". He added a tennis court and a ballroom which he held dances every weekend. And all of this was run on hydro power which he also built,and still running today. It was one the first of its kind and he had lights set out all through the park so it could also be enjoyed at night.
