The autumnal tree and the old inn.

This beautiful autumnal tree stands in a little park just opposite the Old White Horse Inn in Bingley, in W. Yorksnhire. There has been a hostelry on the site of the inn since 1379, and it was once owned by the Order of Knights of St.John of Jerusalem. Once a coaching inn, it is now a Spanish restaurant and events venue. The tree, of course, needs no explanation. But if the weather forecast is correct, then by tomorrow its beautiful yellow leaves will have been blown all over Bingley!
