From the Boathouse

I've just realised that my photographs have been quite dark this week - I don't think you should read anything into it; I've always liked that side of art but the past week's haul seems to have lived there mostly. This afternoon we walked the hound at Winkworth Arboretum - which I normally avoid because it's beauty is a bit too formal and ornamental for my tastes but i wanted a shot at some bright red maples. They were a bit disappointing but I liked this shot looking out across the lake.
